Bajaj Auto has dispatched the 2025 Dominar 400 to dealerships ahead of its official launch. This popular touring bike has received several new features, making it even more appealing. In this post, we’ll explore the new updates, specifications, expected price, and competitors.
New Fully-Digital Instrument Console

Upgraded LCD Display
The 2025 Dominar 400 now features an all-new fully-digital LCD display, similar to the one found on the KTM 390 Duke. This new console includes trip meters, gear position indicator, average fuel economy, range, tachometer, time, clock, and fuel gauge.
Bluetooth Connectivity
This model also introduces Bluetooth connectivity. Riders can now pair their smartphones to the bike’s system to receive call/SMS alerts and track trip data, adding an extra layer of convenience for long-distance riders.
Touring Accessories Now Standard
For the 2025 model, the touring kit comes as standard. This includes:
- Tall visor
- Handguards
- Engine bash plate
- Carrier with backrest
Previously optional, these accessories are now standard, making the bike more ready for touring straight from the showroom.
Same Powerful Engine, No Mechanical Changes
373cc Liquid-Cooled Engine
There are no changes to the engine. The bike continues to be powered by the same 373.27cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces:
- 40 PS power at 8,800 RPM
- 35 Nm torque at 6,500 RPM
Ride Quality & Suspension
The suspension setup remains unchanged, with USD forks at the front and a mono-shock at the rear. The riding posture and handling are ideal for long-distance touring.
Ride-by-Wire & Riding Modes – Not Yet
As of now, there is no confirmation regarding the introduction of ride-by-wire throttle or riding modes. These features are found in the KTM 390 series, but the Dominar 400 maintains its basic setup for now.
New Colour Options
Based on spy shots, it is expected that Bajaj will introduce new dual-tone colour schemes for the Dominar 400. However, the official confirmation is still pending.
Expected Price and Competitors
Expected Price
The expected price of the 2025 Dominar 400 could be around ₹2.40 lakh (ex-showroom), which seems justified given the inclusion of the touring kit and new display features.
Competitors
The 2025 Dominar 400 will compete against:
- KTM 390 Duke
- Royal Enfield Himalayan 450
- Yezdi Adventure
- Suzuki V-Strom SX
